We believe children are important in the kingdom of God, and we value children and their role in our church. We will strive to draw them closer to the Lord and give them opportunities to grow as disciples and serve Him.

Meet Our Children's Minister
Josh Darley
Children's Minister
A Little About Him
Mr. Josh Darley, Children’s Minister at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church, is a native of Dublin. He graduated from Dublin High School and is currently attending Liberty University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Leadership and Management: Business Management with a Minor in Christian Counseling.
Josh served in our nation’s military as a Sergeant in the United States Army as a Culinary Specialist. Josh answered the call into the ministry and submitted himself to the call of children’s ministry in 2017.
His mission statement and passion are to fulfill God’s purpose in his life as a messenger of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world by teaching and nurturing children and their families through education and encouragement to grow in their faith and know his personal savior, Jesus Christ.
He is married to the former Holly Veal of Dublin, Georgia and they are blessed parents of Belle and Clark. When he has extra time, he enjoys watching movies with his family, golf, and reading.
- Favorite Books – The Holy Bible, Pilgrim’s Progress, the Harry Potter series, and A Christmas Carol
- Favorite TV Shows / Movies – Avatar: The Last Airbender, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit series, and the Harry Potter series
- Favorite Drinks – Cherry Coke and Red Bull
